CamMask Pro For Mac

CamMask Pro is an amusing Mac OS X application that provides the required tools to add all sort of effects, patterns, backgrounds, accessories and animations to your webcam.

CamMask Pro comes with a simple and intuitive interface from which you can take a snapshot, record  video and adjust the colors of the webcam stream.

The Image Settings window helps you adjust the brightness, contrast and hue of your video with just a couple of mouse clicks.

The left side panel makes it easy for you to browse through all available effect categories and select your video sources.

You can view the list with the effects available in any given category under the preview panel.

CamMask Pro helps you apply multiple effects at the same time, enable or disable them and even change their properties if possible. Thanks to the Edit menu, you can enable or disable the Picture-In-Picture function (PIP), select your video sources, initiate the recording process and take a snapshot.

Moreover, CamMask Pro allows you to manage the effects collection, add o remove items and reorganized them based on your preferences. While using the PIP feature, you can use existing videos, pictures or solid colors as sources.

On top of that, CamMask Pro enables you to use your entire desktop or only part of your desktop as your secondary video source. We were impressed by the Face Substitution effects, that managed to morph the face of the person standing in front of the camera.

On the bad side, CamMask Pro proved to be unresponsive at times and resource demanding. It managed to slow down our Intel Core 2 Due iMac and even crashed a couple of times when applying more than a couple of effects.
