AnyTotal Screen Recorder Lite is a basic screen recording utility for Mac OS X which supports capturing the whole screen, selected areas or an entire window. In addition to video recording, you can also use the app to quickly take simple snapshots of your screen.

Just like any screen recorder, working with AnyTotal Screen Recorder Lite is extremely easy. It offers a system bar menu with access to all important commands and a desktop window where you can select the recording mode, settings and other options.

To start a new recording, just click on “Record Screen” and then choose the capturing options. During a recording, the main window of the app will show you the recording mode and the area of the screen that is being captured. Optionally, you can use keyboard shortcuts to start or stop recording.
