xCommander For Mac

xCommander is a small macOS application that can connect to X-10 Model CP290 controllers and enables you to interact with up to 256 devices from the comfort of your desktop.

The xCommander application can scan your local network for xStations, or you can manually input the device’s address via the app’s Preferences panel. At the same time, the app can also handle SSH tunneling.

By default, xCommander will automatically number the devices from 1 to 16 for each house code, but note that you can manually edit the devices list. Keep in mind that xCommander offers you the possibility to select multiple devices at the same time and that you can adjust the serial port.

The xCommander application offers you the possibility to send simple commands to the X-10 Model CP290 controllers: on, off, and dim (you get to adjust the dim intensity). To avoid unnecessary repetitive actions, you can also save up to 8 different configurations presets.
