uFoscam For Mac

Designed to help you monitor your video surveillance system, uFoscam is an application that provides support for a wide collection of Foscam IP cameras.

Take into account that uFoscam works properly only with certain Foscam models (you can view the complete list or uFoscam supported devices on the developers webpage).

uFoscam works like many other application’s of this type: you must setup a connection to the IP camera and then you are able to view its video feed in the main window. What’s more, uFoscam also allows you to control PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) enabled cameras.

You can use uFoscam to monitor both the video and the audio feeds recorded by up to 9 IP cameras. At the same time, the app includes 2 way audio capabilities. Of course, uFoscam is able to record the captured data and the user can easily schedule recording sessions or use the motion detection sensors to start the process.

The resulting videos can be played inside the application or you can export various clippings to the same movie file. As usual, uFoscam includes multiple screen layouts (you can view 1, 4, 8 or 9 cameras at the same time).

uFoscam provides various customization options going from toggling the IR-LED illumination to adjusting the image brightness and contrast. You can modify the video resolution, switch the Aspect Fit option on or off, clone camera settings, reorder cameras in the list and much more.

Incidentally, uFoscam can be used to setup public cameras from anywhere in the world. Last but not least, you can easily share camera snapshots by email or by posting them on your Facebook or Twitter accounts.
