    runScriptFromWebPage - Easily run the script (shell script or AppleScript) that is currently selected on the frontmost web page

    runScriptFromWebPage is a free command-line program that will allow you to easily run the script (shell script or AppleScript) that is currently selected on the frontmost web page.

    This script has only been tested with the Safari browser but you could try changing $webBrowser to the name of your preferred browser and it should work as long as that browser supports the 'do JavaScript' command in AppleScript.

    Because runScriptFromWebPage will use JavaScript to get the selected text, it only works with HTML pages (not with plain text pages).
