Fiwi is a compact, faceless (it has no interface per se) application to help with moving files and folders via 2 symmetrical Finder windows. It really helps saving time and avoid confusion.
Fiwi provides the 2 symmetrical Finder windows on the desktop, side by side (columns) or one on top of the other (rows) or and quits freeing all memory. Fiwi provides a 20 pixels border around the screen but also between the 2 windows in both formats.
doubleclick pwrWndws to access 2 windows in in column format ie side by side. Doubleclick Fiwi the shift key pressed and held down until the 2 windows appear, to access 2 windows in row format: one on top of the other.
If no windows are present Fiwi uses the Finder to create 2 new ones with the user default settings for new windows
If one window is present Fiwi assumes it to be set up as your source window and leaves it alone except for resizing it and placing it either at the top (rows) or left (columns) of the desktop. Fiwi creates the second window with the user default settings for new windows and places it underneath (rows) or to the right (columns) of it.
If 2 more windows are present the top 2 will be used and Fiwi leaves all the rest alone underneath them.
Limitations:
· Fiwi will work 99 times in trial mode.
