Nice Timer For Mac

Nice Timer is a minimalist yet efficient macOS application that integrates countdown and stopwatch functionalities. The app features a stylish yet clean design, comes with a resizable window, and 10 color themes for customizing the interface appearance.

Since the Nice Timer main window can be resized without any restrictions, you have the possibility to find it a place on your desktop and make sure it does not obstruct other apps.

On the other hand, Nice Timer also offers fullscreen support, and you can switch between the two modes via the Window menu or by using the Command + F hotkey.

Nice Timer comes with 10 color themes so you can choose the one that better matches your taste. However, you do not have the option to customize the color palettes, which might be slightly frustrating.

By default, Nice Timer works in timer mode, and you can modify the time interval for the counter (it works with hours, minutes, and seconds). When the countdown is over, Nice Timer provides both visual and audio alerts, and you get to start over.

If you choose to switch to the stopwatch mode, the Nice Timer counter will work until stopped by the user. The same area enables you to define keyboard shortcuts for starting or pausing the timer, for resetting the counter, or for switching between the two modes.

Nice Timer gets the job done but keep in mind that the app features quite basic capabilities: you have to set the timer interval for each new counter, and you cannot have more than one counter running.

Adding the option to set up multiple timers at the same time, to save predefined counter templates, or to manually select the color theme for the interface could make things a lot more interesting.
