myPoint Light S is a versatile macOS application designed to help you easily detect your mouse cursor on high resolution screens.

The myPoint Light S application was developed to offer a simple and highly efficient solution to the every day problem that some users of high-resolution displays face with.

Basically, myPoint Light S can cover your mouse pointer in 3 different ways: with a cross-hair, a locator or a halo. Moreover, each of the modules can be toggled on / off from a convenient menu bar panel where you can also access the general preferences.

The cross-hair displays two distinguishable yet non-obtrusive lines across the pointer position. You can change its transparency, center and offset from the mouse, the color, gauge and even configure a global hot-key to toggle it.

The second module, the mouse locator, is of 2 kinds: momentary and permanent. The first displays visual effects for a short period of time through animated rings and the second displays a static ring. As with the cross-hair you can change the size, aspect, but also the color and behavior.

As for the halo module, it consists of an symmetrical image displayed over the mouse cursor position. Unlike the locator, which displays only circles with outer and inner colors, the halos can be any round pattern with beautiful designs or a shapeless illustration that does not get in the way that much.

Another advantage of using myPoint Light S is that each type of pointer can be activated and deactivated in various ways. For instance, via global hot-keys, which we mentioned, or through mouse movements and gestures. What’s more, a pointer can be deactivated at the end of an animation.
