move+resize For Mac

move+resize is a window management software solution for Mac OS X that supports only Trackpad and Magic mouse gestures. It allows you to resize windows on your desktop, so they fit exactly the way you want to, just by swiping, pinching and touching zones.

The application supports Apple’s MacBook Trackpad, Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse and the 3 aforementioned gestures. Moreover, move+resize enables you to create up to 28 window size presets from its Settings window.

Move+resize comes with a menu bar icon that you can use to activate an overlay which allows you to begin making the gestures. The system bar icon provides access to the app’s settings where you can configure each Swipe, Touch and Pinch gestures.

In the Swipes tab of the preferences, you can configure the left origin, top origin, width and height of the Up, Down, Left and Right positions of windows on your screen. The sizes can be set both in pixels and percentages. An optional modifier can also be selected.

Some other handy features include the ability to activate the move+resize interface via a user-defined global hotkey, toggling the menu bar icon on / off and the ability to start at computer login. As with most apps, move+resize offers a concise ‘how to’ guide on its homepage.
