In order to perform this type of task, Technotion Limited has created Loved Tracks Importer last.fm edition, a streamlined and user-friendly OS X application that has one single goal: to help you get all your last.fm tracks as a playlist in either iTunes or Spotify.
iTunes and Spotify import
When importing your loved tracks within iTunes, the Loved Tracks Importer app makes it possible to automatically match them with their corresponding counterparts inside your iTunes library. If a track is found, you will be able to set Loved Tracks Importer to either automatically set a 5 star rating or to add it to a separate playlist for easier access.
The Spotify importing process works in a similar manner with the difference that it will only allow you to create a playlist of all found items inside Spotify’s comprehensive music collection.
Adjustable last.fm match filters
Before starting the actual song matching procedure, Loved Tracks Importer allows you to configure it to exclude videos, a specific music genre or the track titles. This way you can make sure that the automatic matching algorithm gets you the best and most correct results possible.
If not all your loved last.fm tracks are found in either iTunes or Spotify, Loved Tracks Importer provides you with a separate list of all the songs that haven’t been matched. This way, you can check them one by one in order to manually adjust the names of the tracks in your iTunes library for a better match.
Quick and intuitive tool for importing last.fm loved tracks
To sum it all up, if you need a quick and straightforward utility to create a Spotify or iTunes playlist with all your loved tracks on last.fm, make sure that you give Loved Tracks Importer last.fm edition, because it has all the tools you may want to it fast and effortlessly.
