Burning data on a disc should not be too complicated and isoBurn is most definitely trying to simplify the entire process. Whenever you need to burn a DMG or ISO image, simply drag and drop the file on top of the isoBurn main window and the app takes care of the rest.

At the same time, isoBurn can identify and display the media information for a certain disc: place the disc in your writing device, open isoBurn and press the Media Info button.

You will be able to view details about the medium type, disc size, used space, free space, sessions, tracks and the layer break. You can view if the disc is erasable, overwritable or appendable.

However, if you want to use the application for burning, you will have to press the Burn Image button in the initial panel and then import the DMG or ISO file you want to process (via drag and drop). In the next panel you get to specify the drive you want to use and the writing speed.

Finally, isoBurn enables you to choose if you want to use the LineBreak feature, if you would like to have the disc verified and if you want to eject it when the process is done.

isoBurn is able to burn XGD3 XBox 360 discs but you need to use a burner that has been flashed with the appropriate firmware to be able to burn data on the outer layer of the disk. However, if you choose to simply allow isoBurn to truncate the image, it may not work in all cases.
