Printing documents on continuous paper while using Dot Matrix Printers can prove to be problematic due to the original formatting. iPrintPage can convert HTML to plain text and enables you to produce legible results in no time.

iPrintPage is able to work with the Safari web browser by default, but you can also install a third party add-on to Firefox to send content to the app directly. When using Safari, all you have to do is open the document you want to print in the browser, launch iPrintPage, and press the “Get” button.

The utility will automatically import the content on the top most Safari page and convert the data to plain text while keeping the formatting as much as possible. You can also copy to the clipboard only a snippet of the information, and then press the “Paste” button in iPrintPage: the result will be similar.

Within the iPrintPage user interface, you can preview the text content and make further modifications if necessary: the text area is editable. At the same time, you get to adjust the Character per Line and the End Line values and change the printer and document encoding via simple drop down menus.

The End Line function is very useful because it helps you push the paper to the tear-off position by adding a number of blank lines after the text ends. If you are working with Dot Matrix Printers and use continuous paper this can limit the paper waste.

IPrintPage provides quick access to a collection of efficient functions that can help you produce legible documents without wasting resources to print graphical elements.

However, the utility comes with limited CSS support so in some cases further editing after the automatic conversion is in order.
