Viewing the current time is necessary, since you sometimes need to keep an eye on how much time you spend on a project. Dock Clock is a tool that will display the current time and date in the menu bar.

Dock Clock improves on the basic functionality brought by the Mac OS X operating system. Some of the new features that are brought to the table are a live day and clock display in the dock, a large clock display when you click on the menu bar icon, adjustable clock size and easy resize capabilities.

What's more, Dock Clock comes with an additional calendar options that's accessible from the status bar item. While there are multiple functions that you can access when using Dock Clock, I still feel that paying 1.99 is a little too much. It does brings a better time visualization mode, but on the other hand this feature, although barebones as it is, comes by default with OS X, for free.

However, those that want a more impressive way to view the current date and time can do so by purchasing Dock Clock and accessing it from the menu bar.

Dock Clock brings multiple clock designs that you can switch to at any given time. You can also access an option that provides you with the means to hide the calendar, if you need such functionality.

What's new in Dock Clock 2.7.6:

  • Improved version.
