iKeepActive Lite is an easy to use and clean looking macOS utility that promises to make it simple to monitor and improve your health by scheduling a large variety of physical activities.
The iKeepActive Lite application can also be used to rapidly and effortlessly view daily activity reports designed to keep you motivated and focused on boost your body’s capability to function better.
The activities you schedule using iKeepActive Lite can be synced with your Mac’s calendar and from the app’s main window, via the Summary View tab, you will be able to view a quick run-down of all your activities, as well as your BMI (body mass index) score, the basal metabolic rate and the total daily energy expenditure.
New activities can be added to your schedule with the help of the “Add Activity to Schedule” slidesheet that helps you to quickly filter down the available activities and set the activity information before adding it to your calendar.
IKeepActive Lite makes it easy to edit the list of available activities using the “Manage Available Activities” window, a straightforward and quick way to pick new activities to add in your default workout roster, while also helping you to view a detailed instruction overview for each of them before adding them to your activity list.
Unfortunately, while testing iKeepActive Lite on our Macs, we observed a high tendency to crash while scheduling and managing the scheduled activities.
Also, as a downside, albeit allowing you to view a summary of the number of activities in schedule, due, completed and canceled, iKeepActive Lite does not allow you to create a detailed report for each day.
On the whole, despite the fact that it could be a really good utility for tracking and scheduling your daily exercise sessions, iKeepActive Lite falls short because of its frequent crashes and the inability to create detailed workout reports.

- Replace picture and video handling using QTKit with the AVFoundation APIs.
