iFunBox For Mac

iFunBox is a simple and user-oriented Mac OS X application specially made to help you browse the content of your iOS device, transfer it to your Mac’s hard disk or create new folders.

Thanks to iFunBox, you can manage the files on your iPhone, iPod or iPad just like you would do with files on your Mac. On top of that, you can easily install IPA packages and gain access to files and resources in the app sandboxes.

What is more, iFunBox enables you to use your iOS device as a portable USB disk and transfer data at speeds of up to 20 MB/s. The top toolbar helps you create a new folder, refresh the displayed list, copy items to your Mac or from your Mac, install apps and switch between connected devices.

iFunBox is also capable to display your items in a thumbnail or list view and access the folder containing the photos taken using your device. As follows, the left side panel helps you access your voice memos, iBooks, photos and apps with just a few clicks of a mouse button.

Once an application is selected, you can view its source packages and make the desired changes directly from within iFunBox’s main window. However, you might need to copy files to you Mac’s hard disk and edit them with third-party apps if you wish to change more than the file name.

With iFunBox’s help, you can backup your photos and applications and, turn your mobile device into an external storage drive. Unfortunately, you are required to have iFunBox installed on all computers from which you might want to gain access to your files.

On top of that, the promised transfer rate is not be suitable for large files and most Mac users will turn to other storage solutions. However, it is good to know that you can use your expensive Apple device as a storage drive if you do not have an external hard drive or USB drive with you.
