Calculating photographic formulas can be very important for professional photographers.  f/Calc was designed to solve exactly this problem.

None of these formulas are difficult to compute with a scientific calculator, but doing it by hand is slow, tedious and error-prone.

f/Calc - In the f/Calc's 'f Numbers' tab you have to supply two f-values to calculate the third f and to get a lens advisor tip.f/Calc - To add a new lens type use the 'Add' button from the window below.f/Calc - In the f/Calc's 'Depth of Field' tab you can type in the focal length, the subject distance and the aperture.f/Calc - The 'hyperfocal' tab allows you to calculate the focus distance that provides the greatest depth in the field. be aware that the values you type in must comply with some rules that are shown on the right side of eachtab.f/Calc - In the 'Field of View' tab you can choose the film or sensor size from a wide list with pre-defined values.f/Calc - The Magnification tab allows you to calculate the subject magnification factor.f/Calc - The View menu can quickly send you at any of the above mentioned tabs.
