eDrawings Viewer For Mac

eDrawings Viewer is a companion application for the eDrawings CAD software and can be used to visualize, review and print the designs.

The viewer can work with the eDrawings proprietary file format, is compatible with SolidWorks files, but can also be used to open AutoCAD DWG and DXF projects. It can handle both 2D and 3D designs.

eDrawings Viewer offers you the possibility to visualize the content of CAD files that come in different formats: EASM, EPRT, SLDASM, SLDPRT, EDRW, SLDDRW, DWG, DXF, and so on.

Within the eDrawings Viewer main window you get to zoom, pane, and rotate the designs, review the components lists, switch between different views, playback animations, or analyze various cross sections.

EDrawings Viewer also integrates measurement tools, and you get to use the built-in selection tools to get extensive details about and object’s diameter and center, face, edge, and more. Note that you can easily switch between different measurement units.

Even though eDrawings Viewer does not integrate editing tools, the viewer offers you the possibility to add comments, create text boxes, freehand drawings, and even add image files. Note that you also get to move components around.

To streamline the process even further, eDrawings Viewer comes with a collection of predefined stamps that you get to apply to the designs, such as Approved, Confidential, Draft, Final, Internal Use Only, and so on.

The modified documents can be saved to be shared with others using various file formats: eDrawings, SIG, Photoshop, BMP, JPEG, PNG, MacPaint, TIFF, TGA, or QuickTime.

eDrawings Viewer offers you the possibility to analyze and annotate CAD designs without having to waste resources by working with a fully featured CAD editor. The app enables you to interact with each component, provides support for viewing animations, and integrates measurement tools.

At the same time, eDrawings Viewer offers you the possibility to add comments and provides full control over the markup preferences. All you have to do next is share the modified document with your team.
