X-Mirage For Mac

The iOS AirPay function offers you the possibility to quickly stream media content from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch to your Apple TV or other AirPlay enabled devices. X-Mirage is a Mac app that uses the service to help you visualize your phone’s or tablet’s screen on your computer.

To be able to use X-Mirage you must first make sure the AirPlay function is enabled on the source device. On the iOS gadget, you must navigate to the Control Center, open the AirPlay panel, select the name of the device to which you want to connect (in this case, your Mac computer), and enable the service.

The app’s main window is organized in multiple tabs, and you can easily navigate them to activate various functions. X-Mirage is able to add an extra lossless quality audio to the AirPlay receiver, can optimize the AirPlay display size, and shows you the Mac’s AirPlay name. Moreover, you get to set up a connection password.
