Winmail DAT Explorer For Mac

Winmail DAT Explorer is a simple Mac utility designed to help you open and view the content of standard and TNEF encoded Winmail.dat files that are included in emails sent by Microsoft Outlook users. The app is featuring a user friendly design that provides support for a streamlined workflow.

To start using the Winmail DAT Explorer application all you have to do is move it to your disk drive (to complete the installation), and then drag and drop the files you want to open on top of its main window. Note that Winmail DAT Explorer will not open the files if you drop them on top of its Dock icon.

Winmail DAT Explorer can open multiple files at the same time, so you can drag and drop any number of files: the application will open a new window for each new document, and you get to rearrange them in no time.

Within the Winmail DAT Explorer document window you can see the message sender and subject, the email content, and all the included attachments. If you try to open the attachments, Winmail DAT Explorer will automatically send them to the default app that handles each specific file format.

Moreover, you can view the attachments content by using the QuickLook preview plug-in. You also have the option to extract each attached file separately: as a result, you will not have to waste time handling unwanted documents.
