iTunes offers you probably one of the best ways for keeping  your music organized on your Apple gadgets as it enables you to enjoy almost every form of media from music right up to TV shows.

WidgeTunes is a straightforward and useful OS X application that gives you the possibility to effortlessly access, play and toggle between your iTunes playlists.

Once installed on your Mac, WidgeTunes can be accessed either from the status bar by simply clicking its item, or within OS X’s Notification Center’s Today menu.

Note that, in order to activate WidgeTunes in the Notification Center, you must click the “New” button from the button of its main window, and add WidgeTunes in the list of displayed widgets.

Working with WidgeTunes proves to be a very straightforward process due to its minimalist and efficient user interface. From both the status bar, and the Notification Center, you can quickly play, pause, and toggle between your playlists and songs.

WidgeTunes enables you to add playlists to Favorites for a faster approach later on. In order to add playlists to Favorites, simply click the start shaped button from their right side. Also, removing playlists from the Favorites menu is done by clicking the same star button once again.

From the app’s status bar menu, by clicking the settings button from the lower left side, you can setup WidgeTunes to start at system login.

Taking all things into consideration, WidgeTunes proposes a streamlined and efficient solution for accessing your playlists and for playing songs with just a few clicks from OS X’s  status bar and its Notification Center.
