VacronViewer for Mac
Being able to remotely access the video content recorded by the IP cameras connected to your security surveillance system is extremely useful. VacronViewer is a simple application that can make that happen if you are using VACRON or FUHO digital video recorders.
Working with VacronViewer is quite straightforward due to its simple and organized main window, which is separated in two tabs: "Live View & PTZ" and "Records". In the first tab you get to visualize the live feed while in the second you can browse the captured snapshots and videos.
To get started you must provide the host address in the Live View & PTZ panel. In addition, you must setup both the media and the command ports. To be able to connect you must provide the credentials of one of the accounts supported by your DVR.
VacronViewer will display all the available channels in its main window and you must double click on the feed preview to bring it forward. Another double click will restore the initial layout.
On the right side of the VacronViewer main window you can easily access the Play and PTZ control panels. This way, you can start or stop the video, capture snapshots or record movies. At the same time, you can pan, tilt or zoom PTZ enabled IP cameras.
The drawback is that VacronViewer does not provide any kind of documentation material, either offline or online. As a result, if you encounter problems you must make due on your own.
All in all, VacronViewer is designed to help you access the video feed grabbed by your VACRON or FUHO digital video recorders, capture screenshots and even record movies, which can be previewed within the application.
