TimerTrek is an interesting and enjoyable countdown timer that features futuristic graphics based on the Library Computer Access and Retrieval System (LCARS) concepts presented in the famous movie: Star Trek: The Next Generation.

TimerTrek features four different viewing modes as follows: Full-Screen, Windowed, GigaTimer and NanoTimer. While the first two modes offer access to all the controls you need directly from within the main window, the second two are designed to display only the timer.

TimerTrek comes with over 34 gradient themes and 15 different sound effects. You can change the theme and the sounds directly from within the app or use the Access menu to switch between themes and mute the the sound effects. Thanks to the intuitive predefined keyboard shortcuts you can toggle the Full-Screen mode and switch to the NanoTimer or the NanoTimer Window level mode.

What is more, TimerTrek offers a hotkey for each theme fact that allows you to change to the desired theme with just a few keystrokes. You can even switch between the 12 and 24 hour format and hide or show the displayed details. You can change the amount of displayed data by clicking on the seven bars located at the bottom of the window. Hence, you can hide or show the start and finish time, the elapsed time along with the current day, date and time.

TimerTrek also allows you to dim or un-dim the seconds readout and enter a maximum time value of 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds. What is more, TimerTrek will come on top of all opened applications and play the alarm every time the alarm fires up.
