This data input system can prove to be quite confusing, at least at first, so using the timer tool might prove preferable.

Within the Tick web console, when starting a new project you must specify how many hours you have allocated for completing all the tasks. After each time tracking entry, Tick Time Tracking instantly determines how many hours are left.

As a result, while using the Tick Time Tracking application, it is less likely to go over your hours budget because you always have access to real-time data about your resources.
