Temps for Mac
Temps is an elegant and unobtrusive Mac OS X application specially designed to help you keep track of the current weather status and outside temperature for up to eleven different locations from all over the world.
Temps lives in your Mac’s status bar from where you can view the outside temperature and weather conditions for the desired location. By accessing its status bar menu, you can easily view the three day forecast along with detailed information about the weather status.
Thanks to Temps, you can view felt temperature, the humidity percentage, atmospheric pressure, cloud cover, wind speed along with the sunrise and sunset time. You can also view the local time for the selected location and the three day weather prediction for different parts of the day (Night, Morning, Afternoon and Evening).
From Temps’ status bar menu you can also view the current weather condition and outside temperature for more than 10 locations at the same time. Temps provides weather reports for over 2.5 million locations from all corners of the world.
What is more, Temps comes with support for personal Weather Stations from Netatmo and allows you to synchronize your locations between multiple Macs using iCloud. From the Preferences window you can add, remove and manage your locations and choose the type of information displayed in the menubar.
You can configure Temps to display the current temperature and location along with the temperature measurement unit in its status bar icon. In addition, you can choose between a colored or a monochrome menu bar symbol type. Moreover, you can set the time format and choose between the metric or imperial system for the wind speed and switch from the celsius scale to the fahrenheit one. You can even setup Temps to automatically start at login.
