PDF Editor For Mac

PDF Editor is a no-frills and simple to use OS X utility that promises to help you view and annotate any PDF document you may want to.

It should be mentioned from the start that in spite of the fact that its name is PDF Editor, this tool is not an editor per se. Actually, as already mentioned above you cannot perform any type of editing operations apart from adding bookmarks, notes and highlighting portions of the document,

In essence, T-bone LLC’s PDF Editor is nothing else than an augmented PDF viewer which will help you make notes on PDFs while reading them on your Mac.

Moreover, PDF Editor allows you to view your documents in full-screen mode and, if needed, to zoom in order to get a closer look at smaller details that you would otherwise miss altogether.

While reading a PDF, the PDF Editor app will display all its pages in the left side panel and, using a built-in search field, it will also help you find various snippets of text within the loaded document.

The app’s toolbar is designed to make it easier to manage the PDF and it offers you quick and direct access to PDF Editor’s tools, as well as to buttons that will launch the OS X built-in Colors and Fonts panels for customizing your notes before adding them to the document.

Other than the aforementioned built-in annotation and viewing tools, PDF Editor does not have anything else to offer therefore, in our opinion, renaming it or removing the “Editor” part from its name would probably be a good course of action.
