Swing it Pro For Mac

Golf enthusiasts know that one’s posture is extremely important if you want to improve your performance. Swing it Pro is a Mac app designed to help you review your body position and learn what you need to do to ameliorate your technique.

To be able to use Swing it Pro you must start recording your practice sessions then import the videos in the application. Swing it Pro is also able to open the movies directly from your camera.

The application comes with a built in video player that has basic capabilities: play / stop / pause, fast forward / rewind, scroll or change the playback speed.

You will be able to use simple video processing tools: trim, strip, rotate, mirror, de-interlace or synchronize. You also have the possibility to merge videos together: the images will be placed side by side.

Swing it Pro also includes drawing tools that can be used to make annotations: line, circle, rectangle, angle, plane, text and grid. You can change the stroke and fill color or the line size. You can use the zoom tool to highlight a certain area and then capture screenshots.

From the Swing it Pro Actions menu you can easily enable the key points for different positions: start; club parallel, back swing; arm parallel, back sing; top; arm parallel, down swing; club parallel, down swing; impact; club parallel, through swing; arm parallel, through swing; finish.   What’s more, via the Swing it Pro Preferences window you can adjust the drawing mode, set up the swing and putting rhythm and tempo or specify the capture area when recording the screen activity. Note that the Swing it Pro annotation can be embedded in the video: simply export your project to a new movie file.

To sum up, Swing it Pro is a great application if you are recording your golf practice sessions and you want to review your performance and improve your posture.
