SqueezeIt is a simple and easy to use compression utility application that easily creates compressed disk images (DMG) files.

DMG files are like ZIP or other compressed files. After you have created them you can easily send them to other Mac users, use them to archive your data, and more.

Here are some key features of "SqueezeIt":

· Password protect (encryption).
· Move original file to the Trash when done (after creating the DMG file, move the original file(s) or folder(s) to the Trash).
· Quit when done (convenient when used as a one-shot application by dragging files and folders to the application icon).
· Overwrite existing disk image (otherwise you'll be asked if it's OK to delete an existing DMG file if one already exists).
· DMG files are placed in the same folder as the original.
· DMG file will have the same name as the original file except it will have the extension .dmg. If there are multiple files or folders being compressed, then the DMG file name will be SqueezeIt.dmg.
