Sorterox For Mac

Sorterox is a straightforward Mac OS X application specially made to help you organize, sort and copy numerous files and folders from within a simple and clean interface.

Thanks to Sorterox, you can spend less time sorting, organizing, copying or moving items by hand and automate this process using user-definable rules. Hence, you can quickly organize and sort pictures for your blog or website, create backups and more.

Sorterox comes with a powerful engine capable to sort, organize, copy and backup hundreds or thousands of files and folders as soon as you drag and drop them onto Sorterox’s main window. You just have to click on the “Sort” button and let Sorterox do the hard work for you.

By using Sorterox, you can streamline your workflow and spend more time taking care of more important and demanding tasks. As you browse through your Mac’s hard drive and find various files and folders that should not be in the current location, you can summon Sorterox and feed it the files and folder you need to be organized.

Sorterox’s Auto Sort engine is designed to automatically sort and organize files inside source folders in the background and record the sorting process in an easy-to-read log files. By accessing the Preferences slide sheet, you can view the list with all active rules, edit or delete them and create your own rules with ease.

You can create rules for sorting and organizing files by their file type or keywords and constrain Sorterox to process files create or modified between certain dates. You can place files in a time-depended subfolder and apply various restrictions related to creation and modification date of the files.

From Sorterox’s Rules tab, you can enable or disable various rules and configure Sorterox to search subfolders for files, start at login and automatically close when a job is completed.
