HandShaker (formerly SmartFinder) For Mac

HandShaker (formerly known as SmartFinder) can connect your Mac to your Android phone in USB debugging mode and enables you to browse and transfer content in both directions with ease. The app automatically keeps the content organized by file type, but you can also use additional filtering options.

Once your Mac is authorized to connect to your phone in USB Debugging mode, in the HandShaker main window you can browse the phone content, and see details about the storage status and battery statistics.

HandShaker comes with both import and export capabilities, which means that you get to transfer files to and from the Android phone. HandShaker allows you to preview, delete, or rename files.

Most of these tasks can be performed by using buttons placed in the HandShaker main window, or with the help of contextual menus.

In the HandShaker main window, you get to see your image, music, and video files organized into different tabs. Depending on the file types, HandShaker comes with distinct viewing modes.

To help you identify photos faster, HandShaker automatically generates thumbnails for each entry and enables you to sort them by week or month. On the other hand, audio tracks can be organized by folders or albums, or listed all together.

NOTE: Because of Apple’s “sandbox” restrictions, the version downloaded from the Mac App Store may not be recognized or connect correctly (apart from this there are no differences in features between the two versions). Thus, we strongly suggest that you download the HandShaker version available for direct download.
