If you are juggling multiple projects and tasks on a daily basis, using an efficient scheduling application is essential. SmartDay is a status bar menu tool that provides quick access to a sophisticated calendar setting through a single mouse click.

Working with SmartDay is exceptionally straightforward: when you press the status bar icon the app will display a planner panel where you can view the current month together with your tasks for the day and a project management panel where you can visualize all your tasks, notes and projects.

The SmartDay panels cannot be resized manually or rearranged, but another mouse click on the app's icon will hide them completely. Noteworthy is that you can quickly adjust the planner time period by switching between the daily, weekly or monthly viewing mode.

SmartDay allows you to quickly add new events, tasks, notes or projects through its interface or you can use the default hotkeys: Command + N to create a new event, Command +K for a new task, Command + O for a new note and Command + / for a new project.

Click on the Settings icon placed in the bottom left corner of the main panel to view other available keyboard combinations.

In the SmartDay Preferences window, you can change the default event duration, the first day of the week (Sunday or Monday), the snooze period, the event alert time period and more. The same area allows you to set up the default working time for each day of the week and the default task duration.

SmartDay will automatically sync with your Apple Calendar application, but you can also choose to connect to your SmartDay Online account. As a result, you will be able to access your schedule on multiple devices.
