Show All Files is simple utility that enables you to hide or reveal files or folders without using Terminal commands. The application provides a minimalist interface that allows you to toggle the files visibility with the press of a button.

The top Show All Files buttons will quickly show or hide the files that are hidden in Mac OS X by default. In addition, Show All Files can be used to create your own custom list of files and folders that will be hidden or revealed.

Import the items you want to process via drag and drop or by using the Add Folders and Add Files button attached to the Show All Files files list box. The next step is to select one of the two available buttons: Make Loaded Files / Folders Invisible or Make Loaded Files / Folders Visible.

In the More Tools window you can choose to quickly rebuild the Spotlight index for the currently selected volume. To assign a volume, drag and drop it on top of the Rebuild Now button. This option is very useful if you want to make sure all changes have been indexed.

All in all, Show All Files is a fairly intuitive application that offers you the possibility to toggle the visibility of the Mac OS X hidden files, while allowing you to hide/reveal specific files and folders. The app is also useful if you want to make sure Spotlights has re-indexed the content of specific volumes.
