Savant TrueControl For Mac

The Savant TrueControl application is part of the Savant home automation system and enables you to control all the sensors integrated within your home or your office. Note that you will have to make sure the utility is connected to your Savant system.

The Savant TrueControl graphical user interface comes with colorful buttons that help you browse between different controllers. The tools are organized around 4 main categories: watch, listen, environment, and settings.

Depending on your choice, or the right side of the app’s main window you will be able to see the available tools, while the center area is reserved for the specialized controllers. Moreover, via drop down menus you get to quickly switch the room you want to control (you can have different settings for the same type of controller, in separate rooms).

Within the Savant TrueControl user interface you get to configure your home’s lightning depending of the time of day, the shades status, the climate settings, to view security alerts, or to control your audio system by choosing to listen to radio, or songs and videos from your on music library.

Most of these features come with fairly intuitive controls, but keep in mind that the Savant TrueControl application cannot be used to modify the Savant system: you cannot change the rooms names, for example.

If you choose to automate your home or your office using the Savant system, installing the Savant TrueControl application on your Mac is highly recommended since it will grant you access to the available controllers. However, keep in mind that the developers also provide an iOS companion app.
