RAM Optimizer is a simple and useful app that just works on its own and won't get in your way. All you need to do is set your preferences and let it do what it's designed to do.
RAM Optimizer is an automated tool that will partition your main memory (RAM), making your computer more responsive. You can verify it's working by observing the chart that is shown in RAM Optimizer's window or in your Activity Monitor's "System Memory" tab.
RAM Optimizer is more than a "Free-Memory" type application and you will notice that sometimes (not always) it can free more memory than your inactive memory. This is due to the proprietary technique employed by RAM Optimizer.
RAM Optimizer is also a great app for servers due to the fact that it can run automatically and always keep memory partitioned.
Note: RAM Optimizer runs in the background. To open it find the "microchip" icon on your top right menu bar.
