ParaDocs For Mac

ParaDocs proposes a streamlined solution for creating and compiling helpbooks that can be accessed on Mac or iOS devices, or through a web browser. The utility comes with built-in CSS and Markdown editors, allows you to import images with minimal effort, and is able to quickly compile the book when your are done.

Thanks to its well organized user interface, working with the ParaDocs application proves to be highly intuitive: you get to import images with a simple drag and drop action, while the top window toolbar provides quick access to most functions.

ParaDocs allows you to edit your helpbook content using Markdown, and enables you to organize the pages via CSS. To perform CSS or Markdown related tasks, you can either use your favorite editors, or take advantage of the ParaDocs built-in tools.

In the ParaDocs document configuration panel you get to setup the helpbook title and icon, and the output format: Apple Helpbook, Generic Webpages, or iOS Help Module. However, when you actually compile the project you will also have to specify an output location.

Note that, to be able to actually create helpbooks using ParaDocs, you must be familiar with CSS and Markdown editing. To help you get started, the app comes with offline documentation explaining how the utility works, and the developers provide a couple of online tutorials.
