An easy to use Mac OS X untethered jailbreaking utility that offers you the possibility to process devices running on iOS 7.1 and 7.1.1
The Pangu app has been developed by a team of contributors and is available free of charge. The utility is able to work with Apple devices running the 7.1 or 7.1.1 iOS version. You can use the tool to jailbreak iPhones (the 5S, 5C, 5, 4S, or 4 models), iPads (the Mini, Air, Mini Retina, 4, 3, or 2 models), and the iPod Touch 5G version.
The Pangu installation process is extremely straightforward: all you have to do is drag and drop the app’s icon to your Applications directory. The next step is to launch the utility and then connect the device you want to jailbreak to your Mac.
Pangu is designed to automatically detect the connected devices and its iOS version: you will be able to see this information in the app’s main window. Simply press the “Jailbreak” button placed on the right side of the app’s main window, and Pangu takes care of the rest.
The jailbreaking process should go on smoothly, but to be prepared for the worst case scenario, you should backup your device via iTunes before starting the procedure. In addition, all passcodes on your iOS device must be disabled
Furthermore, on the Pangu website you can also watch a video tutorial that gives you an idea on how the tool actually works, even though it is featuring an older Pangu version, running on a different operating system.
