PDF Editor Mac is a simple Mac app designed to help you annotate your unencrypted PDF documents. The utility integrates specific drawing tool, allows you to include text and image content, and enables you to rotate the document’s pages.

The PDF Editor Mac application allows you to work on multiple PDF documents at the same time: it will simply open a new window for each file. The main window area is reserved to viewing the PDF content and thumbnails for all included pages, while the top toolbar includes buttons for all supported functions.

PDF Editor Mac will automatically open an option window when you are using a tool that comes with customization options: you can change the brush, pencil, or line size. If you are adding text boxes, the text has to be typed in the option window text field.

Within the PDF Editor Mac window you can easily navigate through the pages included in the PDF document, zoom the pages in or out, or rotate them to various degrees. To annotate the document you can add text or image boxes, draw lines, and use the pencil or brush tools.

Of course, PDF Editor Mac also includes an eraser tool, and allows you to completely delete certain elements. Moreover, you have the option to change the font size and type.

Note that certain tools did not work properly: during our test we could not change the color of the text annotation, and we could not move the drawn lines on the page.

PDF Editor Mac offers you the possibility to perform basic PDF annotation task, but lacks some standard functions: you don’t have the option to draw geometrical figures, there is only one type of line available, and you cannot change the color of your text annotations.
