Optique 1.0 Build 26
Helps you handle and organize your photo collection
From Optique’s main window you can have quick and easy access to all photo albums from your Pictures folder and, as a result, you can browse through your picture library and preview images.
Optique displays all containing images in thumbnail list and also enables you to view your pictures in window or full screen mode.
Thanks to the context menu, you can move the select image to any given album, delete the photo or reveal it in Finder with just a couple of mouse clicks.
On top of that, the Share drop-down menu helps you post the select image on Facebook or share it via Twitter.
The handy built-in search form makes it easy to find the desired image
If you are dealing with numerous albums containing a couple of hundreds or even more pictures, you can take advantage of the built-in search form and easily filter the displayed albums or pictures with just a few keystrokes.
By accessing the File menu, you can create a new album or change the main directory, while the View menu helps you view all your albums or all your cameras. Switching to the Cameras mode allows you to view all connected digital cameras and transfer new pictures to an album of your choice.
Quickly and easily import pictures from your digital camera
The Preferences window offers you the option to adjust the size of the thumbnails and offers you the option to configure Optique to automatically switch to the Cameras mode when a digital camera is connected.
Although intuitive and practical, Optique does not allow its users to drag and drop more than just one picture at at time in a new album. This is a big oversight, especially for an application that promises to help its users import, organize and manage their photos.
