OpenSong is well organized Mac OS X application that can keep track of your songs and all related material, such as lyrics, music sheets, computer projections, and so on. The utility proves to be very useful if you need to present songs, but you do not ant to take the time to create PowerPoint slides, or use any other presentations creator.

The OpenSong developer has created the utility as a solution for presenting the lyrics of religious songs to its congregation. This reflects in the collection of default songs, and in the fact that you get to insert scripture references.

The OpenSong capabilities revolve around two panels: the songs mode where you can manage your songs database, and the set mode where you can easily add songs and comments to create song presentations or other types of slideshows.

Within the OpenSong Song Editor you get to store general details about each entry (title, author, copyright), chords or lyrics, multiple verses, or comments. At the same time, you get to easily ad new sections, columns, or pages.

If you switch to the Advanced view, you will also be able to set the key you want to use, or the tempo. Moreover, you get to quickly switch between various built-in presentation themes.

All the included songs can be easily integrated into your presentations, together with scripture fragments, images, external links, and various other slides. OpenSong comes with a Preview mode that enables you to visualize the presentations, and control it with user friendly tools.
