OneTrash requires only 1.7 MB from your Mac’s hard disk space and is also light on your computer’s resources. During our testing period we witnessed a memory load of up to 50 MB while the CPU usage spiked up to a maximum of 15%. These values might change according to your system configuration and the files you are trying to delete.

OneTrash features three removal modes that can be easily accessed via the status bar menu. Thus, you can use the Files Mode to permanently delete only files and the Folders Mode to delete only folders and their content. The third mode, List Mode, helps you view all the files, folders and items located in the Trash folder and select only the ones you want to remove.

By accessing the Preferences window, you can enable OneTrash to automatically launch at startup and repair the system Trash if you encounter TimeMachine issues and you want to empty all Trash.
