NewDoc is a little menu bar based Mac OS X that will allow you to quickly create a new file in the currently open Finder window.
When clicking on the icon a menu is shown which contains the files which can be created.
After clicking on one of the menu entries the selected file is created in the currently opened directory of the frontmost Finder window. This means, you have to enter the directory in which you want to create a new file first, then select the file type from the NewDoc menulet.
For example, if you are in Finder in your user directory and select the file 'New text file' a new text file is created in your user directory. In reality it's not newly created but copied from a template directory.
NOTE: To download NewDoc via the App Store an Apple account is required.
