MetaClean for Mac
MetaClean is a handy and practical Mac OS X application that you can use to view, edit and remove metadata from your documents before sharing them with other users.
Effortlessly preview and modify the metadata of your documents
From MetaClean’s main window you can quickly and effortlessly load, check, edit or remove metadata from documents created using Microsoft Office, Open Office and even Adobe Acrobat.
Consequently, with MetaClean’s help, you can modify the metadata of your DOC, DOT, DOCX, DOCM, DOTX, DOTM, XLS, XLT, XLSX, XLSM, XLTX, XLTM, PPT, POT, PPTX, PPTM, POTX, POTM, as well as VSD, ODT, OD, ODP and PDF documents with ease.
Load and process multiple documents and export them to the desired location
The top toolbar helps you load and find supported documents, save your changes, remove one or more files from the list and batch process a series of files. To load documents, you just have to browse to the folder containing the files and select the files you want to process.
However, the built-in Searching feature proved to be more useful when it comes to loading multiple files of a given format at the same time. Hence, you can load only text-based documents, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets or PDFs.
Batch process multiple files with just a few clicks of a mouse button
On top of that, MetaClean is capable to batch process numerous documents created using Microsoft Office, OpenOffice or Adobe Acrobat. After providing the new data, you can save new files in a location of your choice or overwrite the original ones.
The PDF template panel enables you to change the title, subject, author, keywords, creation and modification date, as well as the create and producer of the document. If you need to leave a field blank, you just have to uncheck it and all contained information will be deleted.
