Memory Scope is a simple status bar menu application that monitors your memory usage, displays statistical information and allows you to quickly clean the unused RAM.

The application can show the amount of total, used and free memory and how much RAM is used by each application (expressed in percentages). At the same time, via the contextual menu, you can easily stop the applications that you do not need.

In the status bar icon you will be able to see how much RAM is free in real time and the “Freeing” label each time the app does its job. If you keep the “Auto Free Memory” box checked, Memory Scope will automatically clean your memory at certain intervals of time.

However, the Memory Scope main window its quite large for such a small functionality, cannot be customized in any way and will not hide automatically when you press the status bar icon. If you do not use the Auto Free function, the app’s interface will take a big chunk of your desktop space.
