MangaStream Downloader is an open source, Java based project that offers you the possibility to effortlessly download manga collections hosted on the mangastream.com and mangafox.me websites.

To start using the MangaStream Downloader you must first add the manga titles you want to get. You can add only your favorite collections manually, or import all the manga available on mangastream.com with the press of a button.

At the same time, you can choose the server you want to use when downloading: MangaStream or MangaFox. Note that you must specify the output directory and create a separate subfolder for each collection (by default, MangaStream Downloader will use the collection name for the latter).

Worth mentioning is that, during our tests, we have managed to get actual image files only from mangafox.com. When using MangaStream as a source, the downloader only created folders without getting any actual content, even though it displayed a confirmation message.

MangaStream Downloader offers you the possibility to specify the exact chapter you want to download, or you can instruct the utility to just download all of them if you have enough storage space (you can opt in to compress the chapter folders into ZIPs).

However, it can also help you identify if there are any new chapters for your favorite manga collection. This can prove very useful if you follow multiple titles, and eliminates the need to monitor the websites (it can automatically perform the check on startup).

Bottom line, MangaStream Downloader significantly reduces the need to interact with the mangastream.com or mangafox.me manga hosting websites.
