MacX MediaTrans proposes an alternative solution for transferring media files between your Mac and iPhone or iPod devices without relying on the iTunes app for synchronization.
With the MacX MediaTrans app, you can either export content to your Mac or load new tracks or video files to the mobile device’s library.
Upon launch, MacX MediaTrans will look for iPhone or iPad devices connected to your Mac via USB. If the app does not detect the devices right away, just plug them again, and everything should get back on track.
Within the MacX MediaTrans main window, you get to choose if you want to scan for photos, books, or voice and ringtone tracks, load the music manager, or look for video content. MacX MediaTrans also allows you to use your mobile device as a USB drive.
Note that via the MacX MediaTrans Settings panel you get to change the default export path for the media files or decide to automatically convert videos to the MP4 standard and auto-rotate the image if necessary, or output the audio files to the MP3 or AAC format.
Regardless of the type of data you are dealing with, MacX MediaTrans offers you the possibility to transfer content to and from the connected iOS device.
You get to export the files to your Mac, and use the app to send back audio and video files, ringtones, books, or any other file thanks to the Flash Drive function.
Once you add files that are to be sent to the mobile device, MacX MediaTrans activates the Sync function, and you get to see how many items are to be added or deleted. Note that you get to add files or delete items only from certain folders.
Bottom line, MacX MediaTrans brings to the table an organized user interface where you get to browse the media files stored on your Apple mobile devices and choose to save them to your drive without having to go through the iTunes synchronization procedure.
MacX MediaTrans can also be used to transfer photos, audio and video files, or virtually any other file format to the mobile devices or to delete the ones you already backed up so you can gain more storage space on the iPhone or iPad.
