With more and more people switching to music streaming services, audio tag editors are becoming less of a necessity. However, some purists still cling to their local audio files, especially those who value sound quality above convenience.

If that's true for you as well, then Music Tag Editor could definitely be useful. It is designed to speed up audio metadata editing, making it an excellent tool for people with large music libraries who just can't seem to keep them all in order.

The app supports all popular audio formats, and it doesn't matter how you have your music organized. Just drop an entire folder and let it pick out files that can be processed. You can then sort them by title, album, or whatever else you find helpful.

You can change anything about a file's metadata, download and attach or replace album art, download and edit lyrics, as well as resolve various text encoding issues that can be difficult to troubleshoot.

Of course, if you're working with dozens of albums at once, editing files one by one is going to take a while. But if you need to make changes that are applicable to multiple songs, things get a lot easier.

For instance, you can find and replace text in multiple tags, rename files according to certain criteria, add file names to tags, remove extra spaces, or even change the case of multiple songs to get rid of any outliers.

We can't ignore the fact that there are lots of free audio tag editors out there, and Music Tag Editor isn't all that cheap. However, it really does streamline things a lot, and it includes a bunch of very useful features. For those of you who work with audio files on a daily basis, it may be worth the price.
