Loom for Mac
Having access to all your photos and videos even when you are on the go is great, but the issues aroused by synchronizing multiple libraries and the storage space limits make this task quite challenging.
Loom is a small Mac application designed to provide an alternative solution: you can upload your files to the Loom servers and then access them from virtually any device, via a web browser or through the iOS Loom companion app.
Of course, to be able to use the application you must first set up an account at loom.com . You can register free of charge but your account will have available only 5GB of storage space. If you need more, you can check out the available Loom plans.
Once you login to your account you must specify the folder you want to upload to the Loom servers and the app will automatically generate a new album for each directory. However, you can skip this step and set up your sources via the Loom Uploader window.
You can easily access the uploads manager window via the Loom status bar menu. The same area allows you to view how much space you have left, pause / start the upload or access the Preferences window where you can switch between Loom accounts.
All things considered, Loom can help you save a lot of space on your mobile device and also allows you to access your media library from virtually anywhere in the world, as long as you are willing to invest in storage space on the Loom.com servers.
