Litmus Scope For Mac

Creating the perfect marketing email design is not an easy task: you must check if the content looks right on various types of devices, regardless of the client app used to view it.

Litmus Scope is a simple Mac app that helps you connect to the Litmus Scope web application, and enables you to quickly generate a web version for any email message. This way, you can easily preview it on different devices, and you can share the design with others.

The Litmus Scope application places a small menulet in your status bar that provides quick access to the Litmus Scope web application (will open in your default web browser). What’s more, to generate a web version for any email, all you have to do is drag and drop it on top of this status bar menulet.

Litmus Scope will open the email web version in a new browser tab, and you get to effortlessly toggle between previewing the design, or navigating the source code. Noteworthy is that the email’s web address is temporary (will be available for 15 days).

By default, the Litmus Scope service allows you to view the content of your emails in desktop, text, or mobile mode. However, if you choose to sign up for an account, it will help you test it on more than 30 different emails clients, and even edit the content.
