If you need to perform repetitive tasks that imply the same mouse and keyboard actions and you want to automate the procedure, Keyboard and Mouse Recorder will prove to be an extremely useful tool.
Keyboard and Mouse Recorder is a Mac app that is able to record your mouse position on the screen, its movements, and its clicks, but also the signals sent by your keyboard. As a result, you get to record a certain action and then play it on a loop, for as long as you need to.
The Keyboard and Mouse Recorder main window is reduced to a small panel that provides access to most of the app’s capabilities: start / stop the recording process (the same buttons are used to playback the data), save recording, open recording, or open the Preferences window.
Keyboard and Mouse Recorder offers you the possibility to customize the recording process by adjusting the time period after which the app actually starts capturing the movements. This is essential because you can make sure the cursor is in the right place from the start.
At the same time, you can choose to remove a certain number of seconds from the end of the recording: this way, Keyboard and Mouse Recorder will not preserve the mouse movement that stops the capturing process.
Other customization options include the fact that you can toggle the audio notifications, adjust the number on times the recording is played in a loop, and more.
Keyboard and Mouse Recorder can be used to automate certain tasks by recording both the mouse and the keyboard actions and then playing them on a loop: as long as the movements are repetitive, you can use the app to create a recording.
What's new in Keyboard and Mouse Recorder 8.1:
- A full recompilation has been made to be compatible with High Sierra, and as Universal Binary to keep being compatible with both old (PowerPC) Macs and recent (Intel) Macs.
- The "How to intall it?" paragraph of the documentation has been updated to explain how to install and launch the Application in particular under Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra:
- Under Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra, if you're launching the Application for the first time, Mac OS' GateKeeper (which you can configure in the "System Preferences") will refuse to launch it because you've not downloaded it from the Mac App Store (but from our website). In this case, instead of double-clicking on it, all you have to do is to right-click on the Application's icon, and then select the "Open" menu. A message will appear in which you'll be able to confirm that you want to launch the Application (even if it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store from an Identified Developer).
