KMEye for Mac4.0.4
To make sure a security system is effective, you must be able to access the images captured by your IP cameras at any time. KMEye is an easy to use application designed to help you manage and monitor your surveillance system.
To get started with KMEye, you must make sure you know the following information about your DVR: the IP address, an username/password combination that can access it remotely, the port number used by the DVR and how many channels (cameras) are available.
In addition, you must set up a name for each connection: you can use the location name to avoid confusion.
You are able to view all connected devices and their information in the left side panel of the main window, while on the right you can monitor the video feed. From the top drop down menu you can easily split the main window into 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16 channels.
The camera’s feed can be recorded locally or you can quickly grab snapshots. KMEye includes a recordings manager and you are also able to playback the video within the application at a later time. You can sort the images or videos by device, channel, time or size, but KMEye also provides a basic search tool.
What’s more, KMEye comes with PTZ support so, if you are using PTZ IP cameras, you are able to focus, zoom or tilt the image through a remote connection.
All in all, KMEye provides an organized environment for managing and monitoring the cameras and the video feed grabbed by your surveillance system.
