GrabIt For Mac

GrabIt is a simple and versatile macOS application that enables you to quickly and easily take screenshots of different areas of your Mac’s screen.

The low-key and intuitive application lives in your Mac’s status bar from which you can summon it every time you need to take a snapshot by simply pressing the Cmd + Option + B keys. Once GrabIt is enabled you can easily select and drag the images you want to capture with just a few mouse clicks.

After making your selection you can view the captured image and double click on it in order to make it smaller. In order to view the screenshot again you need to double click it again. Hence, you can take and manage multiple screenshots of different sections of your Mac’s screen at the same time.

GrabIt offers a transparent border for all selected screenshots that allows you to delete, save or share your image. You can save your snapshots by clicking on the right button of your mouse and dragging the image onto your desktop.

Another useful feature provided by GrabIt is the instant image share through Dropbox and the ability to paste your screenshots right from your Mac’s clipboard.

The Dropbox share feature also comes with a simple keyboard shortcut that enables you to share your snapshots with just a keystroke. GrabIt automatically copies the Dropbox share link and allows you to share your images with your friends, family or co-workers by simply sending them the link.

By accessing the Preferences window, you can easily link GrabIt with your Dropbox account, set the default storing location and change from the colored menubar icon to the black and white icon.

On the whole, GrabIt is an unobtrusive and user-oriented application designed to help you take multiple screenshots and share them via Dropbox with friends or colleagues.
